The founder and namesake of the Val R. Christensen Service Center is speaking on the Utah State University campus Thursday evening. Val R. Christensen will speak at 7 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center Auditorium and the public is invited to attend.Christensen served as Vice President for Student Services at USU and he was the first director of VOICE, the original service center at USU. After leaving USU, Christensen served as a general authority for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he still holds the emeritus position.
