The Cache County Planning Commission’s decision to approve the Cherry Peak Ski Resort master plan has been appealed by the Bear River Watershed Council. The appeal was made to the Cache County Board of Adjustments.The hearing on the appeal has been set for Thursday, March 15 at 4 p.m. in the Historic Cache County Courthouse council chambers. Members of the Bear River Watershed Council say, among other complaints, that the ski resort east of Richmond would undoubtedly have an adverse effect on the city’s water supply.
