A public memorial took place Sunday, August 14 for Lance Cpl. Norberto Mendez-Hernandez, a 22 year old Logan resident who died while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan on July 10. Mendez-Hernandez’s name was added to the war memorial on the corner of the Historic Cache County Courthouse.
