Eleven different vandalisms have been reported throughout Cache County Saturday after someone, or a group of people, went on a graffiti spree throughout the north part of Logan, North Logan and Hyde Park. At least two Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church houses, Cache Valley Bible Fellowship, 2 Brothers Furniture, the Eccles Ice Arena, several storage sheds and utility poles were tagged late Friday night/early Saturday morning.
Some of the structures were tagged with signs of Anarchy, RKLS, Rufio and vulgarities.
According to Logan City Police Captain Tyson Budge, the LDS church at 400 West 1600 North in Logan and the LDS church located at 400 East 1800 North in North Logan both got tagged. In fact, the graffiti vandals were so brazen they tagged the steeple of the LDS church in North Logan. The Cache Valley Bible Fellowship at 1408 North 200 West was also vandalized. Church and police officials have been notified.
Budge says an investigation is underway that is involving coordination with multiple agencies since these vandalisms happened at multiple locations.
