It’s closer than most people realize, the June 26 Utah primary election. Cache County Clerk Jill Zollinger says actually early voting will be starting in just a few days, on Tuesday, June 12 and it will run through Friday, June 22 in the Cache County Administration building.
Zollinger says the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 21 and also on Saturday, June 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Registration will also go on in the county administration building on Friday, June 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“And then on June 18-21 we will hold it at two locations,” Zollinger explains, “one in Hyrum at their city office and in Smithfield at their civic center. The hours on those days are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.”
Zollinger says in order to vote citizens need to have their photo ID plus another form of identification, such as a utility bill with current address if they have moved from the place where they previously registered.
