A small 3.5 magnitude earthquake shook areas of Cache Valley Friday afternoon. There are no immediate reports of damage. According to the <a target=”_blank” href=”http://quake.utah.edu/req2webdir/recenteqs/Quakes/uu00010557.html”>University of Utah Seismograph Station</a>, the quake’s epicenter was approximately 1 mile from Trenton and less than 1/4 of a mile underground.
At approximately 1:53 the quake started rattling windows and pictures in homes in Trenton, Newton, Richmond, Amalga and Lewiston. The quake was reportedly felt in other areas of Cache Valley as well, including Logan.
