Congress is in recess and during the recess Republican Representative Rob Bishop is holding several town hall meetings in District 1. Bishop will meet with constituents Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Layton City Council Chambers, then at 8 p.m. at the Riverdale Senior Center.

Next week there will be a town hall meeting with Bishop on Tuesday, August 21 starting at 6 p.m. in the Cache County Council Chambers. Later that same evening, at 8 p m., Bishop will meet with Box Elder County residents in Brigham City Hall.

Bishop says among the issues he will be talking about are stopping tax hikes, strengthening national security, controlling the growth of government and defending Utah’s lands.
