USU Symphony Orchestra performs with Cache Children’s Choir

Utah State University’s Symphony Orchestra joins the Cache Children’s Choir and Deborah Baker Monday to present “Capiccio Espagnol” on Friday, October 26 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Sergial Bernal, director of the USU Symphony Orchestra, says the concert will also feature Bradley Ottesen, violist in the Fry Street Quartet, who will be performing the Vaughan Williams “Suite for Viola and Small Orchestra.”

The Cache Children’s Cantate and Concert Choirs will perform two movements from “Gloria” by Antonio Vivaldi. Deborah Baker Monday, a nationally recognized teacher, composer and publisher of music for young string orchestras, will join the USU Symphony and Children’s Choir.

The USU Symphony will play a piece by Monday titled “Synergy.”
