Transit district enjoying steady growth in Logan

The Cache Valley Transit District provided over two million trips in 2012 for the second consecutive year.  Ridership grew 1.8 percent on fixed routes to 2,101,697 and grew by 5.5 percent on paratransit to 28,700.

General Manager Todd Beutler told the Logan City Council Tuesday that ridership on fixed routes averaged 39.75 passengers on every bus for every hour of service provided. He says this is more than double the average of comparable systems nationwide.
