American West Heritage Center to host third annual Valentine Dinner and Magic Show

LOGAN— An evening of elegance and magic.

That’s how the American West Heritage Center describes its third annual Valentine Dinner and Magic Show coming up Thursday and Friday, February 14-15. The center’s program coordinator, Chris Schultz said dinner by Elements will be served each evening in the Livery Stable followed by the magic show at 7 p.m. in the Opera House.

Schultz said world-traveling magician Richard Hatch will perform, and Hatch said he always likes to bring a new trick.

“This year, the one I’m most excited about, that’s new, is an effect that I’ll be doing the authorized American debut of,” Hatch said. “It’s by a friend of mine from Berlin … it’s without any question, the world’s most romantic card trick, and that might be considered an oxymoron.”

Hatch said it involves the queen of hearts and the king of spades, along with a couple of the guests.
