USU names new dean of Tooele regional campus

Donna Dillingham-Evans has been named the dean of the Utah State University Tooele Regional Campus.

Donna Dillingham-Evans has been named the Dean of the Utah State University Tooele Regional Campus. USU executive vice president and provost Raymond T. Coward, says he is confident Dillingham-Evans will have a positive impact at the fast-growing regional campus.

Most recently, Dillingham-Evans was the Executive Vice President and Vice President of Academic Services at Dixie State College where she had been employed for the last 30 years. She spent 23 of those years in college administration, including being the founding chair of the mathematics department.

Dillingham-Evans has an undergraduate degree in chemistry and a master’s and doctoral degree in post-secondary and vocational education at the University of Nevada and educational leadership at Northern Arizona University.

She has received a host of honors and awards for her engagement in adult education and civic programs and her professional focus has been on innovative teaching practices.
