Lawyers, ethics and international business topic of dean convocation

An attorney and lobbyist for the pharmaceutical industry, Conam Grames, will talk about lawyers, ethics and international business at a dean’s convocation at the Utah State University Jon M. Huntsman School of Business on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

The event is free and open to the public and it will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Orson A. Christensen Auditorium, Room 215, in the Geoege S. Eccles Building. Grames was serving as director of public affairs for the Asia North Area of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when the 2011 earthquakes hit Japan.

Grames will talk about his role in coordinating relief efforts after the earthquakes and tsunami. Grames is a founding principal of Grames, Cunningham and Associates, a Washington, D.C. law firm with expertise in international business and issues impacting the pharmaceutical industry.
