Business summit helping local businesses reach a higher level of success

“Ascend to the Next Level.” That is the theme for the Second Annual Cache Business Summit to be held on Thursday, March 7 from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Riverwoods Conference Center in Logan. Mike Young, director of the Small Business Development Center at Utah State University, said those attending will be able to hear local success stories, learn valuable business principles and find available tools to help entrepreneurs, small businesses and large companies grow and become successful.

“We are able to bring in a lot of different professionals from the community,” Young explained on KVNU’s Crosstalk program Thursday, “people who have been successful entrepreneurs, or are professional service providers that have been around in the valley providing help to people for a long time.

“It really helps us to bring in a great variety of people with a lot of different backgrounds to really help people put together the full picture of what they need to do in their business.”

Young said the keynote speaker will be Jim Laub, president and CEO for Cache Valley Electric. There will be breakout sessions and lunch will be served but registration is required. Call (435) 797-2277 for more information.
