Willard Bay North Marina remains closed, South Marina open and boating restrictions in place

WILLARD – With warmer temperatures expected this Easter weekend, Utah State Parks reminds visitors Willard Bay State Park North Marina remains closed to all access, including pedestrian, boat, motorized or non-motorized travel. The closure is necessary while cleanup of a diesel fuel release continues.

Willard Bay South Marina, accessed via exit 351, is open for boat launching, fishing and day-use access, and full hook-up RV camping. No tent camping is available at the South Marina.

Boating is restricted to the south end of Willard Bay. The northern half is clearly marked with warning buoys. The closure will prevent wakes and wave action from boats, which could affect booms and other equipment in place. Park Rangers will be enforcing the North Marina closure and boating restrictions.
