LOGAN — A section of 1000 West will be closed again this weekend, beginning Saturday. The Utah Department of Transportation says crews will close 1000 West between 1000 North and 2500 North beginning Saturday morning at 7 a.m.
It is expected to be reopened by Sunday night at 7 p.m. While closed, traffic will be detoured onto 600 West or Main Street in Logan. Access to businesses along the affected area will be made available to customers. The closure will help crews as they move utility lines.
1400 North is also expected to be closed for five days beginning Saturday. UDOT says crews will close 1400 North, between 600 West and 1000 West, starting Saturday, April 27. It is expected to be reopened by Wednesday, May 1.
While closed, school and local business traffic will be detoured onto 600 West. The closure will help crews as they work on an irrigation crossing.
