Pregnant woman injured in Hyde Park multi-vehicle accident

HYDE PARK — A multiple vehicle accident in Hyde Park sent a pregnant woman to the hospital Wednesday. The accident occurred near 3444 North, Highway 91.

According to North Park Police Sargent John Seamons, the woman was traveling north on Highway 91 in Hyde Park, around 5:30 Wednesday evening. Traffic at the time was heavy and backed up from the light at 3600 North.

Multiple agencies responded to the accident and traffic along 91 was shut down for a time.

Patients’ conditions are not known at this time or the effect of the accident on the pregnancy. As more details become available this story will be updated.
