<a href=”http://610kvnu.com/assets/podcaster/328/2013_05_24_328_11166_2867.mp3″ target=”_blank”>North Logan Mayor Lloyd Berentzen says</a> the program starts at 11 a.m. and it will begin with a flag ceremony.
“We’ll hear a few speakers, we even have a little bit of a musical presentation. I think one year we had a bagpipe come in and do some things,” Berentzen said. “It’s just been a really good thing, and I think an appropriate thing to do on Memorial Day, an opportunity for people to come and really set the stage of that day. I think that’s what they look forward to and the turnout seems to be growing each year.”
The keynote speaker will be retired Utah National Guard Commander Bryan L. Tarbet. Mayor Berentzen, who has decided not to seek re-election this year, will also speak.
