Best of the Blotter: August 14-17

<strong>Sat Aug 17</strong> An officer responded to a citizen assist by phone. The complainant stated her neighbor was watering her lawn and thought it was strange. It turned out to be the neighborhood association watering the lawn. 

<strong>Thu Aug 15</strong> The complainant wanted police action taken against some neighborhood kids who, while riding their bikes, rode across her front lawn. The kids are ages 5-9 and there will be no trespassing charges against such young kids at play.

<strong>Thu Aug 15</strong> Officers responded to a report of a scream heard by the complainant. Police contacted an individual who was yelling because her children weren’t going to bed.

<strong>Wed Aug 14</strong> Officer responded to a complaint about an individual’s speech. The complainant was advised that freedom of speech was a right guaranteed by the Constitution.

<strong>Wed Aug 14</strong> The complainant called and had questions about moving items without a tailgate on her vehicle. I informed complainant as long as the items in the back of the truck were secure and could not fall out she would be fine.
