PROMONTORY, Utah (AP) – Authorities say a 29-year-old Tooele man was injured after a small explosion on the roof of the Autoliv plant in Box Elder County.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the incident happened about 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Promontory.

Box Elder County Chief Deputy Kevin Potter says the man was working on an air conditioner on the roof when a flash fire erupted and burned his arms and face.

Potter says the man was airlifted to a Salt Lake City hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators were looking into the cause of the explosion. They say it didn’t damage the building or injure any other people.
