West promises to represent ‘all four sides of the community’

Richard West says there are four parts to Logan City–the North, South, West and East. He believes the east side gets by far the most attention and  there are needs in other areas.

West is running for Logan City Mayor as a write-in candidate and he says  that’s because the filing deadline was passed before he decided he could maybe make a difference.

“That’s why I’m out going door to door in these communities, because they need to know who their candidate is,” West said on KVNU’s Crosstalk program Wednesday. “They need to know that they can be represented by a mayor who looks at all four sides of the community, wants to listen to them, understand their concerns and can be trusted, who will follow through with what they say they are doing.”

West said he’s working hard  to let people know he would be a better kind of mayor than the others in the race and he says all Logan residents will need to do is write his name in the empty check box on the ballot.

The other candidates running for Logan City Mayor include incumbent Randy Watts and Craig Petersen.
