Best of the Blotter: Oct. 21-26

<strong>Sat Oct 26</strong> The complainant called the police to report that she felt that her neighbors were having too many garage sales this summer and was wondering if this is in violation of some law. I explained to the complainant that there is no known law preventing a family from having a garage sale.

<strong>Fri Oct 25</strong> The complainant called and stated while he was in jail his wife withdrew $500 out of their joint account. He wanted to know if there was anything he could do. I informed him where they were married and they have a joint account the money was hers just as much as his and there was nothing he could do.

<strong>Thu Oct 24</strong> An individual came to the Police Department with questions regarding a civil issue. The complainant stated a local piano store has been fixing his piano, but he hasn’t heard from them in over six months. Officers gave the individual advise and answered his questions.

<strong>Wed Oct 23</strong> This is a report of a ground squirrel digging under the complainants patio.

<strong>Mon Oct 21</strong> An individual called Police to report a possible protective order violation. The complainant stated his ex-wife may be stalking him, and showed up at a haunted house he was visiting. The incident occurred in another jurisdiction, so officers advised the individual call the appropriate agency.

<strong>Mon Oct 21</strong> An officer responded to a welfare check. The complainant stated to dispatch an elderly jogger had been sticking his arm out into traffic. The complainant feared for the joggers welfare. The officer was unable to locate the jogger.
