Cache/Rich Drug Task Force makes mutliple arrests in methamphetamine and marijuana drug busts

Agents of the Cache Rich Drug Task Force had been investigating several cases involving drugs being packaged and sold in Cache Valley. These investigations have resulted in multiple warrants and arrests.

On 12/3/13 agents were attempting to serve a summons for criminal distribution of a controlled substance in Logan. As they approached the door to the residence they were able to observe several people inside engaged in criminal drug activity. They made contact and an investigation was initiated. This resulted in the arrest of Nathan Conner (38), Jennece Conner (36), Myriam Conner (42), and Trevor Schulz (20).

Their charges include possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Agents seized 2.2 grams of methamphetamine valued at $200, 8.6 grams of marijuana valued at $100, as well drug pipes, paraphernalia, and packaging materials.

On 12/4/13 agents were attempting to contact a suspected drug dealer in Smithfield. As they contacted him to make an arrest they observed him in possession of 18.9 grams of methamphetamine, valued at $1,900, marijuana, packaging materials, cash, and a firearm. Jay Griffin (56) was arrested for charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a restricted person, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Again on 12/4/13 agents were contacting a suspected drug dealer at his residence and discovered almost 10 pounds of marijuana valued at over $25,000. Geraldo Reynoso (24) of Hyrum was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
