Utah State has 10 players named to Phil Steele’s post-season All-Mountain West football teams

LOGAN, Utah – Phil Steele’s 2013 post-season all-Mountain West teams were announced Friday and Utah State had 10 players recognized across the three teams.

First-team all-Mountain West honors were given to senior offensive center Tyler Larsen, senior cornerback Nevin Lawson and sophomore linebacker Kyler Fackrell, while senior linebacker Jake Doughty, junior defensive end B.J. Larsen and junior linebacker Zach Vigil were all named to the second-team.

Utah State players who earned third-team all-Mountain West honors from Phil Steele includes senior running back Joey DeMartino, senior nose guard AJ Pataiali’i, junior safety Brian Suite and sophomore punt returner Bruce Natson.

Utah State (8-5, 7-1 MW) will conclude its 2013 season in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl against No. 24 Northern Illinois (12-1, 8-0) on Thursday, Dec. 26 at 7:30 p.m. (MT). The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. USU is 1-0 all-time against the Huskies.
