It’s coming soon, Cache Valley’s first-ever Indoor Flea Market-Health Village. Owner Bill Knopp said applications are being taken for vendors and residents are invited to bring their garage sale items and turn them into cash.
On <a href=”http://610kvnu.com/assets/podcaster/328/2014_01_16_328_18050_2867.mp3″ target=”_blank”>KVNU’s Crosstalk program Wednesday</a>, he said the location is the place currently known as Petersen’s Country Store at 2759 South Highway 89/91.
“Our opening weekend of January 31st we’re kicking off with a disaster preparedness expo,” Knopp said, “which will offer people the opportunity to learn, of course, aside from the regular food storage and what to do in case of disasters, they’ll have opportunities to learn many, many other things that can help them in cases of power outages and other issues.”
He said the Cache Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting in Classroom A on January 31 starting at 1 p.m. Knopp said Roger K. Young will be speaking prior to the ribbon-cutting at 12 noon.
