South Logan continues to grow, brings in more jobs

LOGAN – You can still get reservations to attend the Cache Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet. The banquet will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Riverwoods Conference Center.

The Riverwoods Conference Center is part of Wasatch Property Management, whose CEO and President Dell Loy Hansen will receive an important award. Chamber of Commerce CEO Sandy Emile says Hansen will receive a new “Economic Impact” award which is very well deserved. She says many people have said Dell Loy Hansen and Wasatch Properties have totally transformed and beautified the south part of Logan.

“The whole area around the Riverwoods and the Wasatch business building, the new businesses that are springing up around there, the Conservice building, The Falls at Riverwoods . . . that whole area has just changed so dynamically. Just look at the number of new jobs that have come in down there,” she said.

Emile said everyone is invited to attend the awards banquet where seven other major awards will be presented. Utah’s new Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox will be the keynote speaker.
