LOGAN — Franklin County Sheriff’s dispatch reports Preston City Police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning.

The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

The dispatch operator declined to give specific information, pending a press release expected to be issued by Preston City Police Chief Ken Geddes.
