Women’s World returns for third year of Cruise-In

All types and models of specialty vehicles are already here and the 32nd annual Cache Valley Cruise-In opens Thursday at the Cache County Fairgrounds. It is hosted by the Cache Valley Cruising Association and Chairman John Rutledge says the public is invited to visit the fairgrounds during the three-day event.

For $5 people can purchase a ticket for this year’s giveaway car. The drawing will be Saturday at 6 p.m. and the winner will need to be present to win.

There are activities for children all three days and Jill Douglas says for the third time there is also a Women’s World.

“It’s just vendors that are selling things specific to women,” Douglas says. “So we have clothing, jewelry, items for the kitchen, skin care, anything that pertains to women.”

Among the other highlights of the Cruise-In are a Friday night concert that features REO Speedwagon and the final event, a parade down Logan’s Main Street after the 6 p.m. drawing for the car on Saturday.
