Multiple agencies come together for mock emergency drill at USU

<span>It’s a drill, only a drill. Utah State University is creating an emergency drill exercise at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Thursday, July 31st. The public is asked not to be alarmed.</span>

<span>The majority of the drill will take place at the Spectrum. However, there will also be a vehicle in the terraced parking lot by the Aggie Bull that will be checked for explosives.</span>

<span>The mock suspect’s house will be in a surplus warehouse at approximately 750 East 1500 North. The mock suspect’s vehicle will also be located in the vicinity of the Spectrum and surplus warehouse.  </span>

<span>Set-up for the emergency drill started Wednesday and the exercise runs through Thursday</span><span>. The exercise, which will have several mock victims and  emergency response teams, is designed to test the emergency response capabilities of USU, Logan City, Cache County and even the Utah National Guard.</span>
