Alden Farr, a former member of the Brigham City Council, has been selected as a new member of that same council. Farr was chosen by the other council members to complete the term of Brian Rex, who resigned last month.
According to the Box Elder News Journal, Farr begins his new time on the council as the city is attempting to decide how to move ahead with the UTOPIA fiber-optic network, whether to move forward with the public-private partnership now being explored or to look for other options.
Farr served on the Brigham City Council from January of 2004 until December of 2007.
