The city of Paradise is celebrating its annual Trout and Berry Days and a highlight comes Friday evening with a concert starting at 8 p.m. in Paradise Park. Dale Major said the concert will feature Many Strings and Company.
“They have around seven CDs that they have put out, mostly original music,” Majors explained. “They have kind of a quirky sense of humor and they play and sing very well. They are very entertaining.
“They have been featured at a lot of cowboy gatherings and also they love the mountain man rendezvous type stuff. They have done a lot of entertaining in a lot of places.”
The opener will be popular local entertainers Saddle Serenade with Chris Mortensen and Mary Jo Hansen. Major said there is a full day of activities on Saturday including a parade at 10:30 a.m., trout scramble at 12 noon, a trout and berry dinner at 6 p.m. and ending with a family country dance.
