Eric Tyrone Lewis, 36 passed away on September 4, 2014 at Logan Regional Hospital. Eric was Born October 5, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Tyrone D. and Sandy Nielsen Lewis. Eric Grew up in Millville, Utah and later moved to Wellsville, Utah. Eric attended school at the Exceptional Child Center, Millville Elementary, Spring Creek, Mountain Crest and for the last 15 years at Cache Education and Training Center. He loved it there and had many friends and staff that loved and cared for him. Eric loved the Jazz and had the Privilege of meeting his favorite player, John Stockton. He loved watching movies, eating, camping and anything with his family. He loved reminder bands and had them all up his arms. Eric brought so much joy to anyone he met, he had unconditional love for everyone. He was a professional greeter and great example of Christ-like love. He never forgot anyone he met. Eric loved his family and he taught us so much about what was really important. He has left a huge hole in our hearts.
Eric is survived by his parents, Ty and Sandy Lewis, Wellsville, Utah; his 5 adoring sisters, Gina (Gary) Cook, Turlock, California; Andrea (Blake) Swenson, Pocatello, Idaho; Amy (Kevin) Wolters, Logan , Utah; Holly (Kris) Falslev, Nibley, Utah; Robyn(Jarvis) Johnson, Smithfield, Utah; and 14 nieces and nephews that he adored. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Keith and Ardell Nielsen, and Dean and Ivaloo Lewis. Uncles, Eugene Maughan and Joseph Burt.
We would like to thank the ER doctors and nurses, the nurses on the medical floor and especially the nurses at transitional care. Also Access Hospice and Dr. Salisbury. Your kindness and compassion and professional care of Eric and ourselves has made this much easier to bare.
Funeral services are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home. A viewing will be held Monday September 8, 2014, from 6:00pm to 8:30pm where friends and family my call at Nyman Funeral Home, 585 West 100 North, Providence. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 9, 2014 at the Wellsville LDS 5<sup>th</sup> Ward Chapel, 660 South 100 West. Wellsville, Utah, A viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Clifton, Idaho Cemetery.
