Sharon Seamons Friedli passed away on September 9, 2014 quietly at her home in Logan after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Sharon was born June 28, 1932 in Cornish, Utah to James W. Seamons Jr. and Vella Aleta Saunders Seamons.
Sharon lived her entire life in Cache Valley, when her family moved from Cornish to North Logan, Her father was appointed the job Principal and Teacher at North Logan Elementary. Jimmy Seamons was major influence in her life by not only being her father, but teaching her in 7<sup>th</sup> and 8<sup>th</sup> grade. She married her handsome high school sweetheart Nathan Carl Friedli, one week after graduating South Cache High School. They married June 7, 1950 in Logan LDS Temple.
She spent her life caring and loving family and friends. She loved to cook and during the holidays she would be the last to sit down because she had to feed everyone. She loved getting the oos and ahs from her amazing cooking. One of the major activities she spent her free time in was square dancing. Nathan and Sharon spent 36 years dos-a-doing through life with many friends and family.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many auxiliaries.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan, Three children, Dennis (Diane) of Logan, UT. David (Lee) of Carmel Valley, CA. Jerilyn Parks (Paul) of Hyde Park, UT. Three grandchildren: Jamille, Jake and Elise Parks and her sister-in-law Joyce (Kenneth) Seamons and her three sisters, Sonja Nyman of North Logan, UT. Marlene (Thom) Slater of Centerville, UT. And Marcia Moss of Logan, UT. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Kenneth and Farris, her niece Holly Moss and her nephew Doug Slater.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Logan 10<sup>th</sup> Ward LDS Church, 792 North 500 East, Logan Utah at 12:00 Noon. A viewing will be held Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nyman Funeral Home. 585 West 100 North, Providence, Utah. (just North of Macey’s) and a viewing at the church prior to the services from 10:30 AM till 11:45 AM. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
