SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Flags will be flown at half-staff at all state-owned facilities in Utah Thursday to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
Gov. Gary Herbert says in a statement that Utahns will pause to remember those who died in the attacks, as well as the first responders and the families of the victims.
Herbert is traveling and plans to visit the memorial to the plane that crashed into the Pentagon as well as the Sept. 11 memorial in New York City.
