Cache Valley Hospital to hold health fair

LOGAN – A health fair open to the public will be held October 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the Cache Valley Hospital, which is soon to be owned by Mountain Star Healthcare.

The fair is being held during infection control week and to celebrate the hospital’s new ownership.

“We’re going to offer a number of free services, free flu shots, free glucose testing, body-fat analysis, cholesterol testing and blood-pressure screening, all free of charge,” hospital CEO John Worley said. “We just want you to come out and get to know us a little bit, let us get to know you and come have some fun. We’ll have some giveaways. We’ll have a lot going on at the hospital.”

Worley said the new partnership with Mountain Star Healthcare will mean lower-cost insurance options and additional services.
