Three arrested in Logan drug raid

LOGAN — Police and deputies with the Cache Rich Drug Task Force arrested three people Tuesday on drug possession charges.

Logan City Police Chief Gary Jensen said the task force served a narcotics warrant to a Logan home. They arrested 43-year-old Miriam Conner, 38-year-old Nathan Conner and 35-year-old Leslie Leishman. All three were booked into the Cache County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, a second-degree felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor.

Jensen said while detectives served the warrant they found pieces of equipment used to manufacture UPC codes for items being sold at local retail establishments. The items are believed to have been used for switching prices on items, allowing a person to purchase an expensive item for a lower price and then return it for the original more expensive price.

The case is under further investigation.
