Parade of Gingerbread Homes returns to downtown Logan

LOGAN—With the holiday season here, it’s time again for the annual Parade of Gingerbread Homes in Downtown Logan.

Starting on Saturday, December 6 through December 31, everyone is invited to stroll downtown to vote on their favorite gingerbread creations.

The event has grown into a much loved local tradition, not only for the architects who design gingerbread creations but for everyone who participates by voting on their favorite edible wonderland. This year, each architect will have a chance to win one of three $100 Grand Prizes for the Best of Show. Voting ballots and maps are available at each site beginning Saturday, December 6.

This year, the site locations and their associated architects of the gingerbread homes are: Anderson’s Seed & Garden, Cache Volunteer Center- TEAM Mentoring; Coppin’s Hallmark, Emily Susan Pack; SE Needham Jewelers, Daniel & Leah Kennedy; Stork Landing, Jennifer, Anna Marie, Katherine, and Ashley Erickson; The Book Table, Pam Headley; The Sportsman, Linette Hlavaty; and U&I Furniture, Robyn Rusch & Emma Hammer.

This year we have five returning architects from years past and they have collectively won seven Best of Show awards.
