Tuesday patrons of the West Side School District are asked to cast their ballot in the annual supplemental levy override election. The election is being conducted by the Franklin County Clerk’s Office.
County Elections Clerk Camille Larson says the polling places are at the Weston LDS Church, West Side High School library and the Clifton Community Center.
The levy is for $300,000 and School Superintendent Spencer Barzee says that is the same amount it has been for many years. Only a simple majority vote is needed for the measure to pass.
Monies generated from the levy subsidizes funding the district receives from the state. It goes toward maintenance and operation within the school district.
