LOGAN — Cache County Sheriff’s deputies recently arrested 13 juveniles believed to be responsible for multiple incidents of vandalism to local homes and vehicles.
Chief Deputy Matt Bilodeau said the suspects, ranging in age from 15 to 17, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief in 1st District Court. The suspects are all students at Mountain Crest and Logan High schools.
Bilodeau said deputies over the last few months have received multiple complaints of homes and vehicles being damaged by eggs in Providence, Nibley and Wellsville. The estimated total damage is over $2,000.
One juvenile was also charged with throwing a rock through the window of an RV.
Deputies are still investigating similar incidents in River Heights, Millville, and Logan. They are asking the public to report any suspicious activity and are working in cooperation with local businesses that sell eggs.
