UPDATE: Crews clear rock slide in Logan Canyon

LOGAN — Crews with Utah Department of Transportation removed a rock slide in Logan Canyon early Wednesday morning that had partially closed a section of US 89 near the state owned sheds.

A motorist contacted Cache County dispatch operators around 5:15 a.m. to report the slide. The motorist said rocks were blocking one lane, restricting traffic to one direction.

A Utah Highway Patrol trooper directed traffic while UDOT removed the rocks, clearing the roadway.

There were no reports of any injuries or damage.
