An action-packed program will be going on i nside Utah state Universty’s Maverick Styadium on Friday, July 3rd, prior t the Fireworks Show that highlights Logan’s Independence Day Celebration
Event chair Holly Fjeldsted says gates open at 7 p.m. and that’s also when the entertainment show begins. She says a highlight is music by Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband and there is also an aerial assault trampoline demonstration, performance by the Tueller School of Dance, and Freedom Fire Anthem Idol finalists performance along with the winner’s announcement. Fjeldsted says there is something new this year: a laser show.
<span>”It’s a company out of Las Vegas,” Fjeldsted says. “Their name is Lightwave International. They do laser shows where lasers are synchronized to music, there’s a mist and there are lazers pointing in all different directions. It’s basically eye candy.”</span>
She says there will also be Honor Guard and military tributes with spectacular fireworks by Fireworks West beginning at dark. You can pre-purchase tickets at the Logan Community Recreation Center, the Cache Valley Visitors Bureau, the Logan Aquatic Center and the USU Spectrum ticket office.
