The Caine Lyric Repertory Company at Utah State University currently has four productions in repertory for the current season and matinee performances will be joining the schedule on Saturday, July 11. This year’s Saturday matinee performances begin at 1 p.m., a change from previous years.
On July 11 it will be And Then There Were None, on July 18 Noises Off, July 25 Last Train to Nibroc and August 1 The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Richie Call, co-artistic director of Lyric Repertory, says for the first time there will be two different shows on one day.
This allows patrons who can only be here for a shorter time period to see as many shows as possible. He says to make these “changeovers” possible, the matinees have been moved to 1 p.m. to allow the crew time to change the sets, props and costumes.
