Noma’aea leaving Utah State basketball team

LOGAN – Utah State basketball guard Viko Noma’aea announced on Instagram Sunday night that he will be transferring from USU this fall. He also used the post to thank all the fans for the support he received while at USU.

“I have nothing but the best memories in Logan and will cherish them for as long as I live,” he wrote in his message. “Once again, thank you & God bless.”

Noma’aea played two seasons for the Aggies. Last season as a sophomore he played in 14 games and averaged 5.1 minutes per game. It is not yet known where Noma’aea is planning on transferring to.
