For the first time, Fall Harvest Festival will also feature Witches Walk

The American West Heritage Center is preparing for its annual Fall Harvest Festival to be held Friday and Saturday, October 16 and 17. Coordinator Sara Gunnell says all of the historic buildings will be open and there will be historic demonstrations with hands-on activities.

Tickets for the festival also include admission to the center’s corn maze and all the activities including bb-guns, tomahawks and a giant slide.

Gunnell says on Saturday, October 17th the first-ever Witches Walk will be held and it is a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness.

“We’re working together with Malouf Fine Linens,” Gunnell explains. “Part of the Witches Walk is that we’ll be putting together over 1,000 comfort kits that will be distributed throughout Utah to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.

“The Witches Walk also includes activities for the kids, vendors, a DJ, and also that ticket is included in the Fall Harvest Festival admission.”

Gunnell invites everyone to come to the Witches Walk and those who desire are invited to wear witches costumes.
