Whether you are a female business executive, a working woman wanting to start your own business or a part-time worker and a part-time mom Sandy Emile says you will benefit from the first annual Cache Business Women’s Conference on Thursday, October 22 at the Riverwoods Conference Center. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is hosted by the Cache Chamber of Commerce.
Emile, the chamber’s president and CEO, says the conference is dedicated to the advancement of women leaders and professionals in Northern Utah. She says there will be break-out sessions and exciting speakers, many of them well-known throughout the state and beyond.
Because most women are multi-tasked, stress is something they often deal with.
“How women deal with stress is very often different from how men deal with stress. Not saying one is better or worse, good or bad, right or wrong I’m just saying we are a little bit different. Therefore we need to look at our issues a little differently and hear how other women have dealt with the stress of wearing other hats and trying to be 100% everywhere we go.”
Emile says people can register for the conference and also view the agenda on the Cache Chamber of Commerce website. More information is also available by calling (435) 752-2161.
