A 25-year-old Logan woman was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a single vehicle rollover south of Cornish.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cade Brenchley said Bobbie LaRose was traveling northbound on SR-23 around 7:30 a.m. Near 12200 North, the SUV she was driving drifted off the side of the road, hit a mailbox and stop sign before rolling and coming to a rest on its side.
Emergency crews had to extricate LaRose from the SUV. She suffered a laceration to her head and was transported to Logan Regional Hospital by ambulance.
Brenchley said it is believed that LaRose was drowsy and fell asleep just before the accident occurred.
