The calendar says March but Logan Downtown Manager Gary Saxton says people are already registering for the popular Urban Trails Festival coming up on Saturday, June 4 and beginning at Merlin Olsen Park in Logan.
On KVNU’s For the People program Thursday, Saxton said Logan residents love trails and the city council has already done a lot toward coming up with a connected trail system. He says the Trail Festival will feature a 1.5 mile run, a three mile run and a 10 mile run.
“And you won’t cross any major road. All the roads have underpasses for pedestrian use. This course was laid out to celebrate just how easy it can be to go on a long walk and really not have any concerns with safety, mingling with cars.”
Saxton says there will be other activities as well at the festival. For more information, visit LoganDowntown.org.
