Logan City hosting money and energy saving event

“Your Home – Get More for Less.” That’s the theme for the fourth lecture in Logan City’s Green Futures Learning Series. It will be held on Wednesday, April 20 from 6-8 p.m. in Logan City Hall’s public conference room.

Logan Conservation Coordinator Emily Malik says the topic for the evening is how homeowners, and even renters, can save money and energy in their homes.

“Trent Cragun, that’s coming to speak to the public, is going to give people ideas no matter where you live,” says Malik. “If you rent your home he’ll give you ideas. If you don’t have a lot of money to invest in your home he’ll give you ideas.

“If you have a really expensive home he’ll give you ideas on how to save energy. So I’m really excited for this one. I think it will be really useful for a lot of people.”

Trent Cragun is affiliated with Lifestyle Homes.

Malik says everyone attending will receive a copy of the Energy Saver Guide. Light refreshments will also be served.

The Green Futures Learning series is a six-part public learning series to give residents the opportunity to learn about air quality, home energy savings and garbage and recycling from an expert in the field.
