Cache GOP chair believes Republicans have been punished for less than what Clinton is getting away with

Cache County Republican Party Chairman Boyd Pugmire says he, like a lot of other people, is upset about the fact that FBI Director James Comey has recommended that no charges be filed against Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

He says that was in spite of the fact that classified information traveled through her home email server. Pugmire says that was clearly illegal.

“What really bothers me is in the 1970s Richard Nixon knew about an issue with Watergate, helped cover it up, and had to resign,” exclaims Pugmire. “In my opinion, what she has done is much worse than what he had done. Yet it is being covered up and taken care of so she can run.”

Pugmire says he is at least pleased that the House Oversight Committee questioned Comey Thursday. Utah Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz, R-District 3, is chairman of that committee.
