The public is invited to help celebrate the grand opening of the new Logan location of The Family Place on Monday, August 8. Executive Director Esterlee Molyneaux says the new building at 1525 North 200 West will replace the existing facility which The Family Place has outgrown.
Molyneaux says the new facility will be named after a new friend and advocate for children and The Family Place: Belva Hansen. The open house will also feature The Family Place’s new playground.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Monday at 3 p.m. for the building. Speakers will include Belva Hansen, Dell Loy Hansen and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes.
A separate ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. for the playground.
