For the second time, the Logan City Council has delayed a decision on winter parking permits. Several people spoke up at Tuesday night’s council meeting and varying opinions were expressed.
Once came from Kimball Fife, who said he owns two properties, both east of 600 East.
“I think with the increased enrollment we have, the number of kids that bring cars to school,” he said, “I think it’s important for compliant and conforming properties that have an issue with parking that there is a system to accommodate them.
“I don’t know that I’m in favor of a wild, wild west parking solution. But I am for sure in favor of keeping the permits.”
Fife said he realizes the parking permits are a challenge and are expensive, but he does believe there is a need for them.
